Unterkunfte Camping Poglitsch

We had to pay for a whole week. Even though we only wanted to stay for 6 days. No probleme we would get the last 32 € back. The day of leaving we went to reseption at 9⁰⁰ to pay. They said come back when you are ready for leaving. When we came back 10⁰⁰ they would not give us the money back. We came to late. ? ? We have been regular guests for years.

Brutal. I’ve never seen something like this before. We asked for a pitch to place our three tents and the camping owner, firstly, suggested us to stay in a single tent. Having seen that we probably couldn’t have been satisfied by this solution, the camping owner had a look around the camping area to find a place for our three tents and she found it. We were happy for the response and so we legitimately asked for one night price. At this point the camping owner went totally crazy: she thought we were making joke of her and her effort to find a place for us. She thought we could have compared other campings and then tell her to stay or not. She was incredibly rude accusing us not having checked before prices on internet and of not knowing English (she was the first one not knowing it by speaking it mixing with German). After her drama we decided to move away because we’ve thought that this couldn’t be the way to treat clients. I can’t really get all these good reviews of this unwelcomimg camping.

Worst experience ever! Even if the camping seemed nice and settled in a beautiful area, I had the a terrible experience with the owner of the camping! When I asked for a place to stay for one night and after a legittimate question (how much was for one tent) the owner brutally treated me without any respect like it was bothering her to tell us about the price. Moreover, no one could speak fluently English and in two occasions she took the advantage of speaking in German in order to not let me understand what was happening. I didn’t feel welcome at all and it was more like our presence was disturbing her instead of being treated properly like clients. What a pity!

Embarassing The lady that received us was ridiculously rude and unprofessional. She didn't make any effort to speak an acceptable english, plus she clearly made fun of us in german with the staff. She expected all 6 of us to stay in a single 3 people tent for no reason. These people really can't do their job, they're the worst we have seen in Austria.
